Training Impact Scorecard
A Training Impact Scorecard is a tool used to manage and communicate the impact and value of an organization’s training and development initiatives. It consolidates a number of disparate measures and creates an overall picture in business-relevant terms, focusing on more than just financial gains.
The Training Impact Scorecard identifies metrics in three categories, using existing measures where possible, and creating new ones as required:
- Training Quality – includes measures such as capacity, participant satisfaction and perceived value
- Individual Impact – includes measures such as participant knowledge, self-assessments and multi-rater behavioral assessments (360 degree feedback)
- Organizational Impact – includes measures such as organizational surveys, customer satisfaction, turnover and error rates
